Emily Bett Rickards born July 24, 1991 is a Canadian actress, known for playing Felicity Smoak in The CW television series Arrow. Rickards was raised within British Columbia. She started her career in acting at an early age by taking classes in dance, musical theatre as well as other types of entertainment. Her path in career development began at an early age as she finished high school and went to the Vancouver Film School. There, she completed the Acting Essentials Course. After the course was completed and attending an open call audition that led to her being offered an agent. Alida Vocal Studio is located in Vancouver. The chemistry she shared between her and Stephen Amell, positive feedback from the fans, and her humorous remarks earned her the initial contract as a single-episode guest star.
