Andrea Bang (born in Burnaby British Columbia) is a Canadian screenwriter and actor from Canada. Most well-known is her role as Janet Kim from the CBC Comedy Kim's Convenience in which she's nominated at three Canadian Screen Awards. In addition, she appeared in A Million Little Things Fresh alongside Violet. Andrea Bang comes from Burnaby British Columbia and is Korean Canadian. She has been nominated as the Canadian Screen Award's Best Actress in a Comedy Series in the role of Janet Kim from the CBC comedy Kim's convenient. Andrea Bang was born on May 2, 1989 (age 34 years old) at Burnaby British Columbia, Canada. Andrea is the daughter born to Korean parents. Diana Bang, her sister is also an author and actress. Bang, who attended Burnaby North Senior Secondary School in Burnaby North, was a part of the Bye Bye Birdie chorus.
