Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. She was born in Winnipeg and was raised in Wellington Paquin was able to make her acting debut as Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she was awarded an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress aged 11 years old, making her the second-youngest winner to win an award within Oscar history. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on July 24, 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actor and New Zealander who, at the age of a youngster, was awarded her first Academy Award in 1993 for the top actor supporting. The actress played the fierce daughter of Holly Hunter's character in The Piano. Paquin appeared as Frankie Addams in a 1997 film adaptation for television of the novel by Carson McCullers The Member of the Wedding as well as a small role as Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). She portrayed teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000) and A Walk on the Moon (2000). She played groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
