Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Half English as well as Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father was Argentine with Scottish-English descent. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. They resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was a struggle and she did not study English and was hoping to go again to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was required to switch schools. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school plays. When she was 16, she quit the school to explore acting as a profession. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her dreams came true when she was offered an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
