Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. is an American actress known for portraying tough, yet vulnerable characters. Linney was brought up in the family of actors since her father Romulus Linney is a playwright. In 1986, she graduated from Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before graduating from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City, 1990. In the year 1990, she began her career on Broadway before receiving acclaim from her role as Hedda Gabler in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
