Walker was born 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Walker is African American heritage, and is an American. Her parents are Harvey Welker a Native American father and Julie Welker an African-American mother. Her mother is a real estate agent while her father is an engineer. Walker graduated from Germantown Friends School situated within Philadelphia's Germantown district in 1994. She then attended Harvard College, where she received a Bachelors in Arts degree. Welker got married to John Hughes in Philadelphia, who was an acclaimed marketing director. The couple has two daughters. In 2014 they began having an affair. John his husband, John's father is 4 years older. The couple has decided to continue their relationship to the next level since things were going smoothly. The 4th of March, 2017 they got married. Philadelphia Pennsylvania hosted their wedding. The ceremony took place at the Hyatt in Philadelphia. A tiny group of friends and family members were invited. Although she only got a tiny role in the Disney show The Thirteenth year, her presence was felt by her dazzling non-verbal performance.
